NBO PROJECT SHOWCASE
A dedicated market designed to move Kenyan and African stories from script to global screens.
The festival is now calling for feature-length projects in development and pre-production from across the continent. We are inviting African filmmakers with feature-length projects in Development or Pre-Production to apply for our 2026 Industry Program.
Applications for the NBO Project Showcase are open from July 15th to August 15th, 2026.

What we are looking for
To ensure your project is eligible for consideration, please review the following criteria
Feature films (Fiction or Creative Doc) with a strong African narrative.
Projects with at least 20% of their budget already secured.
Filmmakers seeking international collaboration, sales, or distributors.
Selected projects will receive:
A dedicated slot in the NBO Pitching Sessions.
1-on-1 meetings with international buyers and festival scouts.
Eligibility for the NBO Development Grant (KES 250,000).
